About me

I am a permanent researcher at the Institute of Research on Terrestrial Ecosystems (IRET), which is a part of the National Research Council (CNR) of Italy. In 2012, I earned my Ph.D. in Agrobiotechnology for Tropical Production from the University of Florence. My doctoral advisor was Professor Stefano Mancuso. My research primarily focuses on plant science, with a particular emphasis on plant bioacoustics, plant physiology, and the applications of THz imaging.

Describing myself as a plant biophysicist more effectively highlights my expertise, as demonstrated in my published papers.
